Call for Entries

The submissions process is now closed. Nominations will be announced by May 1 and winners at the 33rd annual NMA gala on June 4, 2010 in Toronto.

Gold awards carry a prize of $1000; Silver $500.

How To Submit

There are 40 Categories for this year’s National Magazine Awards, and all submissions must comply with the NMAF Rules & Eligibility. Entries must be submitted online and followed by tear sheets mailed or couriered to our office. All material must be in-hand by January 15, 2010. 

There are four (4) steps in the submissions process.

  1. Login and list your entries (you must upload a PDF version of your entry)
  2. Select your preferred method of payment (credit card or cheque)
  3. Print your entry forms (automatically emailed to your inbox)
  4. Package your entry forms with your required tear sheets and photocopies and send them to our office.

The submission deadline is Friday January 15, 2010 at 5pm Eastern Time and submissions must be RECEIVED IN THEIR ENTIRETY to be eligible. Submissions postmarked by January 15, 2010 but received on Monday, January 18 will be subject to the late fee of $25 per entry. Applications received after 5pm on Monday, January 18 will NOT be accepted.
