This year, even with the economic constraints facing many in our industry and our country, numerous individuals and organizations have come forward to offer their support to the National Magazine Awards Foundation. The NMAF is pleased to announce several initiatives and sponsorships that will ensure that the annual National Magazine Awards celebration—the gala is June 5—will be as successful, if not more so, than ever.

 

 

NMAF Presidents Collective

This initiative, spearheaded by former NMAF President D.B. Scott, now of Impresa Communications, Ltd., will sponsor the prestigious Magazine of the Year award through the generous financial contributions of twelve of its past presidents, including Mr. Scott. These individuals are:

NMAF Creators Collective

This initiative, spearheaded by six-time National Magazine Award nominee and former NMAF president Kim Pittaway, will sponsor the award for Editorial Packaging for a Single Service Article.
